Of all the fishes, it is the 'talage' which is the most at ease in the water. However low the water maybe, it can still slip through and go where it desires (Mamadou Mamou Bathily). They go in vegetated zones to feed and to reproduce. After spawning, the adults leave the young ones behind. If they can not pass through, they find the way where there is water. They form a group which gathers water, throws the water onto the path to wet it. Once the path is wet, they wiggle through it to pass to get to deeper waters. They do this at night. The 'talage' is not an ordinary fish (Diabé Sow). |
