Remarks Inhabits coral reefs (Ref. 58534). Feeds on fish, cephalopods and benthic organisms (Ref. 275). Piscivore (Ref. 57615). Pelagic. Occasionally found over coral and rocky reefs. Juveniles tend to congregate near flotsam and swim alongside sharks accompanied by pilotfish. Adults are solitary. Feeds on small pelagic fish, crustaceans, crab larvae, euphausiids, and mantis shrimps (Ref. 9773).
