Description: small species with elongate body; lips moderately developed; posterior pair of barbels not reaching to the middle of eyes; scales radially striated; lateral line complete; 5.5 scales between lateral line and dorsal fin origin; 4.5 scales between lateral line and mid-belly; 2 scales between lateral line and pelvic fin insertion; D:III,8; A:III,5; dorsal fin with slight concave border, last simple ray flexible (Ref 81639).
Coloration: ground color yellowish white in preserved specimens; posterior border of scales dark above lateral line: small faint dark spot on upper and middle part of dorsal fin (Ref. 81639). |
