Diagnosis: |
Dorsal spines (total): 5-5; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal soft rays: 6-6; Vertebrae: 19-19. This new species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: D V,8; pelvic-fin rays 7, pectoral-fin rays 21-22; distance between the left opercular and subopercular spines (OPSOP) 22.2% of HL. Colouration: body brown and the absence of conspicuous dark marking on the light floor of the mouth (Ref. 131498). |
