Max. size:  10.23 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Wapoga River system in northern Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 14-19; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 22-28
Biology:  Relative common in a variety of habitats including tannin-stained creeks in lowland rainforest, larger streams in more open areas and mountain tributaries to an elevation of about 400 m above sea level. Occurs in quiet shaded pools, as well as sunlit sections of larger streams and relatively fast-flowing mountain streams.
