Distribution:  Asia: Prauenbivak, Mamberamo River in Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 8-8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-10
Biology:  Not very well known, except for specimens collected in 1920.
