Family:  Claroteidae (Claroteid catfishes), subfamily: Auchenoglanidinae
Max. size:  10.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: known only from the type specimen from Warri (Niger River Delta) in Nigeria (Ref. 57126).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7; Anal spines: -0. Diagnosis: occipital process reaching to first nuchal plate; mouth equal to snout length; width of premaxillary tooth plate 15% of head length; eye large (14.2% of head length); pelvic fin short; colour uniformly brownish (Ref. 57126). Description: nasal barbels absent (Ref. 57126).
