Occurs in deep seaward reefs. One collection outside Micronesia was made at 15 m (Ref. 1602). Benthopelagic (Ref. 58302). Feeds on zooplanktons (Ref. 89972). Exhibits sexual dimorphism (Ref. 37816). Taken occasionally by bottom fishing (Ref. 1602). Marketed fresh. |
