Dorsal spines (total): 8 - 9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9 - 10; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 9 - 10. Yellowish-tan ground color and small reddish spots and vermiculations on the upper half of the head and body. Lateral scale rows 48-52 and transverse scale rows 13-14 (Ref. 77038).
Found in a small (approximately 75 cm wide and 15 cm deep) circular pond among limestone rocks (Ref. 77038). Collected also at an elevation between 1500-2000 m in mountainous terrain (Ref. 77038).
