Africa: Benue, lower Niger and Niger delta (Nigeria and Cameroon) to the (upper) Comoe (Burkina Faso); also reported from other coastal rivers such as the Ibu and Ogun (Nigeria) and Mono (Togo), as well as from the Volta basin (Ref. 57128).
