Inhabits rocky runs, riffles and deep, flowing pools of clear, fast creeks and small to medium rivers (Ref. 86798). Oviparous (Ref. 205), probably nest spawners like congeners.
成魚棲息於多岩石的小支流, 急流且深, 清澈又快速小溪及小型到中型河川的流動的潭水。 卵生的 (參考文獻 205),可能築巢像同類的產卵魚。
