Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Size of 27.5 cm TL is that of an immature female. Collected with a galvanized metal minnow trap where the bottom was nearly flat, covered with fine grey sediment and occasional lava boulders (ca. 0.5 in diameter) in the vicinity of other large lava reefs (Ref. 55621). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5625   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00102 (0.00046 - 0.00225), b=3.06 (2.88 - 3.24), in cm total length, based on all LWR estimates for this body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  3.9   ±0.4 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Resilience (Ref. 120179):  Low, minimum population doubling time 4.5 - 14 years (Fec assumed to be <100).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (18 of 100).
