Etymology: Ceratogarra: Greek noun κzρας, -ατος (keras, keratos) meaning horn, and the ge genus name Garra; referring to the two ‘horns’ at the tip of the snout.
Issue
Questionably a synonym of Ceratogarra fasciacauda Fowler, 1934 according to Kottelat (2013:104; Ref. 94476), but could be a valid species of Cerratogarra (Kottelat 2020:160, Ref. 128869).
