Issue
This species is synonym of Chrysiptera unimaculata (Cuvier, 1830) in Eschmeyer (CofF ver. Mar. 2011: Ref. 86697) following Allen (1991: Ref. 7247:243). But Allen indicated that synonymy (in page 243) was an error, and the species is valid (in page 252) (pers. comm., 11/1997).
