Etymology: Pseudochromis: Greek, pseudes = false + Greek, chromis = a fish, perhaps a perch (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: Leonard Wilson of Darwin, Northern Territory of Australia, was said to have “…made several collections of animals for the Australian Museum”. We do not have further details of him. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
