Épines dorsales (Total) : 9; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 12; Rayons mous anaux: 11 - 12; Vertèbres: 29 - 31. This species possess the following set of characters: slightly large head, its length 36-38% SL, depth 20-26% SL; flat interorbital space flat, relatively wide, its width 7.8-9.7% HL; basal length of anal fin 25-29% SL; pectoral-fin rays with small scales except the lowermost part; numerous small scales cover widely the ventral surface of head and trunk; no nuchal cirrus; scattered below lateral line are long filamentous cirri; D1 IX, D2 12; A 11-12 (mode 12); lateral-line scales 29-31 (mode 31); vertebrae 12 + 17-19 (mode 12 +18) = 29-31 (mode 30) (Ref. 76844).
