Found in inshore waters. Benthic species (Ref. 75154). Specimens have been taken from a coral knoll and from reefs. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The males carry the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Males may be mature at about 5-5.5 cm SL.
