背的软条 (总数) : 12 - 13; 臀鳍软条: 11 - 13; 脊椎骨: 16 - 17. Males have a red dorsal fin, caudal fin proximal two-thirds grey, distal part black with white margin. Have the following combination of characters: dorsal fin rays 12-13 (mode 12); anal fin rays 11-13 (mode 11 or 13); pectoral fin rays 16; caudal fin rays 12; presence of black blotch on dorsal fin base in male; pectoral fin base black; dorsal fin base length 12.5-14.0 % SL; anal fin base length 10.2-10.9% SL (Ref. 39332).
雄鱼有一个红色的背鳍, 尾鳍近端的三分之二个灰色又末梢部的部份黑色的有白色的边缘。 有下列的组合特徵: 背鳍鳍条 12-13(模态 12); 臀鳍棘条 11-13(模态 11 或 13); 胸鳍鳍条 16; 尾鳍鳍条 12; 在雄鱼中的背鳍基底上有黑色的斑块; 胸鳍基底黑色; 背鳍基底长度 12.5-14.0% SL; 臀鳍基底长度 10.2-10.9% SL.(参考文献 39332)
