背棘 (总数) : 0; 背的软条 (总数) : 13; 臀棘: 0; 臀鳍软条: 9. Outer rostral barbels very long, reaching lower front corner of opercle; 8+8 branched caudal-fin rays; nostril flap pointed, reaching eye; body dark brown, 6-15 white or yellow bars most prominent in postdorsal body.
外部的嘴触须非常长的, 达到鳃盖的前方下部角落; 8+8个分枝的尾鳍鳍条; 鼻孔拍打尖的, 达到眼; 身体深褐色的,6-15 白色或黄色的横带大部分突出的在后背的身体。
Found in streams; restricted to microhabitats with moderate flowing water and never in riffles or waterfalls. Associated with S. hingi and Oreoglanis sp. (Sisoridae).
